Urban, public, and in the top 25
In 2005, Tilka Design was chosen to lead the University of Minnesota Law School in a review of its visual presentation to prospective students. During extensive research and analysis we conducted interviews and compared the top 25 schools throughout the U.S. The University of Minnesota Law School is part of a world class, top ten public research university located in in a vibrant urban setting. These important attributes distinguish the school and motivate its alumni, prospects and students. The culture, midwestern work ethic, and positive relationships throughout the entire law school community continue to build the school's distinctive reputation.
In addition to research and analysis, Tilka Design created a brand system for the school and applied it to a variety of materials including the admissions packet, website, and signage. Today, the brand identity continues to communicate the strength of the University of Minnesota.
The University of Minnesota’s Joint Degree Program in Law, Health & the Life Sciences In 1999, Professor Susan Wolf started a joint degree program that paired a law degree with various other graduate degrees. The program has grown and expanded and is now one of the most notable in the country. Tilka Design developed an identity for the center and designed visual maps to easily and quickly tell the story of how the program combines law with interdisciplinary studies. Initial applications of the brand attracted students interested in cutting edge technology and law.
